Common questions

Mac app won't capture the screen.

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording. Turn ContextShot on. Quit and relaunch the app.

iPad and Mac aren't pairing.

Both devices need to be on the same Wi-Fi network. On the iPad, allow Local Network access when prompted. If you've denied it, open Settings → ContextShot → Local Network.

Captures aren't appearing on my iPad.

Check the connection status in the Mac menu bar. If it shows "disconnected," tap your Mac's name on the iPad to reconnect.

My capture didn't paste.

Captures auto-copy to your clipboard. If paste isn't working, the app may have lost clipboard access. Quit and relaunch.
